Marco Perin

Born in Milan in 1972, Marco was introduced to art as a child passing his days in the workshop of his father, Marino, and his master engraver, Bruno Malnati. He graduated from the Art School Santa Marta in Milan in1991, Marco then continues his artistic growth among some Milanese sculptors, then starts working at his family business, LALA Ltd: Art Laboratory for Processing Silver. They used to produce handmade silver wears and beautiful silver art crafts. Unfortunately, the economic crisis and its cruelty put an end to the glorious days at LALA Ltd. Devastated from the outcome, and at the age of 35, Marco went to Piedmont by the Alps in the place where his father was born during the wartime, at the Susa Valley. From there, Marco was feeling an unstoppable desire to express his anger and the millions of emotions buried inside of him.

Marco decides to once and for all give up the chaotic life of the city, moving between the mountains of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, at San Benedetto Val di Sambro. There comes a day when the emotional explosion takes shape in the artistic language: how to represent the inner struggle of life between good and evil, desperation and hope, peace and anger… His art describes an ongoing journey always evolving, and full of unexpected encounters and obstacles, leaving a trace of his soul in each of his art pieces... Marco now lives in the mountains of Trentino.
